The curriculum incorporates the Essentials of Master’s Education for Advanced Practice Nursing established by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing, with a focus on nursing education. Taught by faculty members with both academic and professional nursing experience, the courses are designed to provide advanced knowledge of nursing theory and practice, as well as the design, delivery, assessment, and evaluation of nurse education programs. Courses are taught in a prescribed sequence that builds on your newly developed knowledge and skills. Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) The MSN Nurse Educator Bridge specialization provides licensed registered nurses with a bachelor's degree in a field other than nursing the opportunity to pursue a Master of Science in Nursing. The bridge curriculum incorporates the Essentials of Baccalaureate Education for Professional Nursing Practice and the Essentials of Master’s Education for Advanced Practice Nursing established by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing. You will expand your knowledge of health care systems and policies, patient education, health promotion, and technology integration, with a focus on the design, delivery, assessment, and evaluation of nurse education programs.
